Dr. Lornia Parker
We believe that families are the foundation of our society. Our organization supports and develops those programs that lead to stable family units, including early childhood development, childcare for working parents and nutrition programs for young children.
We believe that all people should have affordable shelter. As a result, the organization is committed to helping citizens meet their housing needs either through construction of helping them find affordable housing to purchase or rent.
Charles W. Moore, M.A
We believe that a quality education is the gateway to sustainable living. An education allows individuals to compete in the employment arena, giving them the opportunity to provide for themselves and their families. We provide scholarships for college age students and for others who are attempting to further their academic horizons.
Dr. Silvia Brooks Williams
Central to the working philosophy of Peoples United Summit is the understanding that a higher power controls all that we do and we must be guided by our sense of faith, hope and charitable giving to those whom we encounter as we journey through life.
Peoples United Summit is an issues-oriented organization. Ending human trafficking, which has been characterized by many as modern-day slavery, is a top priority. Our organization opposes any movement or operation that holds people in bondage.
Throughout our various programs, we promote interaction and understanding between all people. Our mission is not bound by race, religion or national origin. All people are welcome to join, participate and contribute to our organization.
At its founding, our organization believed that all people should be treated with dignity and that equality and hope should be fostered among all people. We are committed to partnering with those organizations, entities, and individuals that have a similar belief.
Peoples Unites Summit is an activist organization. We are involved in helping to feed those who are unable to feed themselves. We also aid victims of human and natural disasters.
We believe that our seniors have made tremendous contributions to our society and should be cared for and acknowledged once they have reached the later years of their lives. We are committed to providing programs and activities for those who have reached retirement or elderly and infirmed.
